connecter near rear shock, right side

connecter near rear shock, right side

OK guys, help me out. There was a connecter jammed up against the rear shock on the right side of the bike. There's like 4 or 5 wires going into it, nothing coming out, looks like it's capped. Any ideas?

Maybe for the foreign models that have an exhaust valve or gate (or whatever it's called) in the exhaust pipe. Emissions BS.

Yup, is what ghostrider says it is. All non USA bikes have that stupid valve. Has to do with noise reduction to pass decibel laws. When installed the valve closes of one of the mufflers at certain rpm ...
