What he said, and be sure to go on the Highway!!!

We love it and mine is nearing 20 years old. If we had enough we'd buy a bagger and keep the softail but the budget don't allow it, JUST YET. For now we're keeping our Heritagecwith 0 complaints.

I went from a Dyna to Heritage and the only complaint that my wife has is that I don't lean as far over in corners with the Heritage as I did on the Dyna (boards scrape). Wife also likes that she can see over me instead of around me on the Heritage since I sit down lower in the bike. The suspension is also better. the wide front tire also handles grooves in the road much better than the skinnier Dyna tire. I put a wider backrest, kuryakyn mini boards (not pictured), and a after market seat (wife didn't like the factory pillion seat) on the heritage also. My Dyna was also set up similar as well. The counter balanced engine also has less vibration than the rubber mounted engine.

Summary......no regrets.

We do about 5K/year about 90% 2up. Wife loves the floor boards but wasn't interested in the touring pillion. She thought it was a little wide. In truth we take very few long trips but lots of 40-50 mile jaunts. Just wanted to give you a little different perspective.
