White Walls go with the deluxe like $ goes with your wallet.
Those spike A/Cs look great on raked bikes, to me they take away from the nostalgic look of the Deluxe.
Finally as mentioned before relocate that plate the stock position is just plain wrong.
I think your bike is pretty damn sweet! Every bike looks better when it's made your own! My opinion on these style bikes is rounded/curved bars not the cut/welded ones. I think the curves flow with these bikes better. I just put some gangsters on my Lo and they look great, and my buddy just put some Road 6 cut/welded bars with gussets on his night train and they look great on it.
That bike was made for WW's too, but yeah the price makes it hard to do unless the tires are ready to be replace anyway!
and a custom paint job would only make it that much better and more yours!
Way too much black going on...that looks great on a bones or a train but not a deluxe if your into the black thang then repaint the tins. If not you need more chrome on the front end and the wheels chrome & black....hey you asked
Ok...I am looking for some honest opinions here. The more I look at my bike and ride it, the more I feel something is off or doesn't look right. Just can't quite put my finger on it. So, looking for some advice on things i should change or add....let's hear em'
The only thing that has changes since these pics, is I took the reflectors off.
(excuse the ol' man on the bike, it's my dad haha)
Handlebars, AC and the lack of white walls. Honestly I think that it is just too busy. It seems like you are trying to go in 3 different directions with the look. A Deluxe looks it's best when simple, yours is very complicated.
Ok...what's your guys' thoughts on doing the below this year?
Relocate license plate below brake light
Swap out air cleaner (pending if I can sell mine for a decent buck)
Swap out handlebars for black carlini flying gangsters (pending if I can sell mine for a decent buck)
Change grips to chrome
Drop the front end
Swap out badge on tank with the nostaligic HD badges
Swap out 39" pipes for 36" and get them PC black?
Mind you guys', i'm not looking to dump a whole lot more money into this year after what i've spend haha
