Before you go crazy with mods...there are two solid mods you can do and then just ride it this summer and then rethink it.

1. White Walls (Goes with the paint and retro style of bike)
2. Go with a round AC cover (your current one is a better fit for a rocker style of bike)

Also keep in mind opinions are like ******** we all got one and nobody thinks theirs stinks. Just ride the hell out it.

Yeah, it really ramps those rims up a notch.

Black intake, handlebars, forks and wheels clash with the long chrome pipes.

Either go all black or all chrome. I'd think with that color on the bike, chrome would work better.

So one option would be something like maybe blacked out V&H 2-2 big radius, and switch out tins for a color scheme that goes better with black.

Or, switch at least the bars, forks and wheels to chrome.

Lower the front , paint all the large chrome parts like oil tank , fender struts , headlamps, just keep small chrome parts as highlights.. bike looks good though !!

Growing up in the 60 WW tires was all we could usually get, so I loathe them.

EXCEPT on a Two Tone painted LUX, like Ur bike..

Only issue I see with Urs is, though it looks good, it has too much Black in the tires/wheels and then fender sides area. All three are black with no break then throw in Ur forks.

This pic below IMO has a better flow. with WW tires and then the fenders are dark on the side with white tops, Gives it a light-dark-light look.
That light-dark-light flow, IMO is one of the best looking and really the only bike I really like to see WW tires on.

I've seen other Lux's that the two tone paint is dark on top and white on sides of the fenders.. Even those, again IMO I don't like WW's on.

IMO with WW tires from the side it looks like White-white-dark,
Heres what I mean.. Just don't flow as good as above paint.

I would change all the cables so they are black to match the bars

Haha no no no... I respect and appreciate everyone's opinion. I know the bike isn't going to look perfect for everyone. Mind you I just got this bike last June. It was bone stock. So it's kinda been my experiment. :-)
