Just make sure none of you are sending this to me cause I reading it while driving. You may be sued for sending it to me .What a country. All bikes should have training wheels to over come dumb.
For some reason I have been skipping past this thread. After finally taking the time to read it I think I should have put my 2 cents in sooner lol. Some people have gotten so used to everyone looking out for them, making decisions for them and pretty much being lead around like sheep to the slaughter that many have forgotten that they have a mind of their own. Therefore they are dependent on someone else, mainly the lawmakers, to compensate for their lack of common sense. Is it not bad enough that we are told in certain states that we have to wear a helmet? Is it not bad enough that we are told in certain states that your bars can only be this certain height? Is it not bad enough that we are told in certain states that our exhaust can not exceed a certain noise level? For those that feel that they can not possibly make it thru everyday life without being looked out for by BIG BROTHER, please, by all means carry on to the slaughter house. But, in your self thoughtless state of mind into that direction that BIG BROTHER leads you, don't, and I repeat don't, try to drag the free thinkers down that path with you. Because, we unlike you, do not need anyone telling us what we need or what is better for us. You may carry on.
I don't need the government to legislate common sense. If you can't remember to put the sidestand up, well I figure I can trust in Darwin to take care of the rest.

This whole thread is funny! because I found it this morning and yesterday I tried to buy a helmet from this place here in the UK that sells all kinds of riding gear and this employee that I have at least 10 yrs on let alone riding experience would not sell me a helmet that I said fit me perfectly but he felt it was to big and would be a risk if God forbid it had to do it's job.
He argued with me for a good few minutes and to no avail, me telling him that the next size smaller was squeezing my brains out my ears, I walked out and save my Ł60 (well over a $100) for some one who would just sell me what ever the hell I want!
My buddy was laughing his *** off when we finally walked out!
pretty entertaining thread here, I am sure everyone has done it at least once or twice, hell I just did it the other day pulling from the gas station. We don't need any more safety/interlock switches on these bikes, just ride the thing, and worry about the idiots driving down the highway next to you instead of your kick stand
