Lol Well if I post a touchy subject and get backlash.... I can handle it, I'm a grown man.
No worries on the pics...they will be posted later today!
Welp, got down to the dealership and they started playing games again. I was so pissed off. I was very clear (as I have been in this thread lol) that we agreed to $12k out of the door... I was going to put $2k down and finance $10k. They once again tried to get me to do it at $12500 and said there was just no money in it. They then said bottom line was they would do it for $10,286 (is what I would finance) ... in other words they were selling it to me for $12286.
I told them to sell it to someone else and it was not the deal they agreed too numerous times on the phone. Its not rocket science. They are just dishonest. I sent of of them a very to the point email and they can kiss my *** (yes, over $286). I don't play that game.
So....no bike for me still.... thanks to dishonest sales people and sales manager.
You were right in walking away, screw them. I would've been furious.
Man, you have no idea...I was furious...they completely wasted my time and dinged my credit report pulling a credit score. The deal was so black and white...they are dishonest people and I would rather pay MORE to someone that is honest. I hate sales people (and I am in sales).
What are you going to say when they call you Monday? It's bound to happen.
Eat ****. Lol
Actually, the guy who runs the whole dealership called me because I sent a very strong email to the sales guy. I basically said they were dishonest and deceitful and I would be telling all my friends and their friends not to do business with them because they are unethical.
He apologized and said he was very sorry and that it would be dealt with in house and that his dealership does not operate that way. He offered me a gift card and said it wasn't just to suck up but a sincere apology on his behalf. He said he wasn't trying to talk me into the bike...he just wanted me to know that he knew nothing about what happened and actions will taken.
With that said, it was very nice of him but I still won't buy the bike. I wasted 3 hours of my day, calling the insurance company and going to the bank to get the deposit. They can **** off. And no, I won't be going to get their gift card.
But damn its hard...it was a sweet bike at the right price and right financing I wanted. I can get financing other places but theirs was the best. Harley would only give me 9.75% on a 72 month loan. This one was 7.9% on 84 months.
