Default 2 into 1 advantages

Have 09 Heritage. I have done the big bore up grade (stage II). Recently added the Power Commander and am looking to up grade the exhaust. Currently just have stock exhaust with Rush slip ons. Looking at going to the 2 into 1 D & D Fat Cat's. Is the torque advantage worth it. Or what experience does anyone have with similar set up. Thanks

The 2-1 pipes will give you more horsepower and torque then any of the 2-2.
My horsepower and torque is higher then most of the dyna's that have a similiar set and have added cams. (which I have not)

Thanks. This is the kind of feed back I'm looking for. Also will the sound be some better and possibly would the cam be more noticeable.

Default Bassani Road Rage 2-1

I have the Bassani Road Rage 2-1 installed on our 2012 FLSTC W/ABS and the sound and power is WOW...
Here is the sound bite of the pipes we did at our house:

I am not really sure. I''ve seen hundreds of dyno sheets and thinking the average is around 5 and 5 more hp and tq.. for me the answer is no, its not worth the $$$ the way I ride. Plus I still like the look of my bike with stock headers and the Rush's, but I love the sound even better, Few pipes can even match them IMO..

But for Ur bike which I am not a fan of the stock FB's pipes, I prefer the staggered vs the stacked. So I don't blame Ya for wanting something else.

Actually I think the new Bassini RR 2-1 above are a great looking set of pipes, I haven't seen a sheet on them yet. but Bassini has a great reputation of producing #'s...
If I was thinking about changing out I'd for sure look at them..

I just spent about 1/2 hr going over my saved links looking for D&D sheets.. seems some of them in here have a dip in the 2-3 K rpm's don't know why, but they do... that's not good in my book..

Here's a D&D vs PP's,, look at post no 12.
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/gener...o-results.html

The D&D's make a little better peak #'s, but look at the under 3K and the V&H's makes a lot better TQ, which is where we spend a lot of time riding.

I've checked for yrs looking at the #'s and for me to change out what I have now for the few more HP and TQ is just not worth it when I am happy with what I have for the way I ride.

So Ur bike, Ur money, bottom line is U have to be happy and like what U have.
All up to U in the end.
