It's not really the price of the tour pak that scares me, it the cost of getting it painted. I have a set of FL style saddlebags I'm trying to get painted to match my bike now (08 dark blue pearl), and that is very pricey! Unless I can find someone that can paint these things at a reasonable price.. The quote I got for the saddlebags were $500.00. I got lucky with the tour pak as someone on E-bay didn't like it after he bought it & painted it so I got painted already...

Look at the computer server cabinet slides. They easily support 50 lbs. + and are only 2” to 3” high and self locking.
Set them up to extend on each side of the rear seat to maintain the current tour pack height. You could use “L’s” or angle iron to mount the tour pack. Don’t forget about the wiring.
