It is the same principal, moving the shocks away from the mounting point. So it would ride the same as bolts lowered to the same length.

I absolutley LOVE this kit. I tell everyone I can to buy it. A super simple install, took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. You can't say the same about the lowering bolts Haha! You can see some old pics of my bike on the customers bike section of their site. 3rd one down from the top. I test fit my new rear fender and now it looks SUPER slammed. I can't wait for my painter to finish it!
