Security system lamp came on??

Default Security system lamp came on??
In Laconia on the weekend and going into downtown Weir's Beach we were stuck in traffic on the hill. Bike was in neutral, coasting when I could & the secuurity system lamp came on and stayed on until I put the bike in gear. No security system on the bike, any idea why it would come on? Checked the owner's manual & nothing in there.

check to see if Ur throwing any codes..

As oct1949 stated, check for any error codes. What kind of bike and year?
