Once I got my MC indor back in 65, I never give it up.. Even when I broke my back and didn't ride for several yrs not knowing if I'd ever ride again..

Glad I didn't when I did start ridding again.

Yea, I have been working on friction and I feel pretty confident.

Got out there today and forgot my damn insurance card so I had to reschedule for next Tuesday. That circle seems pretty tight for a long Softail Custom. HAHAHAHA But I think I can do it.

I was talking to another rider and she said when she took it, she didn't have to stay with the two circles. She said they told her just to make sure she doesn't go outside the outter circle and they will pass you. I thought "whew", that makes it a lot easier! lol

I took my test at the MSF class on the 250s. It wasn't easy but not hard, certainly wouldn't Want to do it again on my Deluxe and never on my sport bikes I had. Good luck
Great tips! I never thought about hanging my *** off the seat for balance. I am going to go up to the DMV this weeknd and practice for a little while... I will be much more confident on Tuesday.

I don't have that luxury. I am in Central California. The instructors probably LOVE to get outside for a bit. lol

When you talk about hanging ur *** off the seat, I assume you mean hanging it off the side of the opposite side of the bike that you are steering? If I am going in the circle closckwise, I would hang off the bike to the left while in the friction zone at high rpms without using the front brake....right?

I went to the DMV today and practiced and it certain lay isn't east on a softail custom but I think I can pass it. I did 2 complete circle about 5 different times and went outside the litter line only once (and put my foot down) so hopefully I don't do that on Tuesday.

I did not hang my *** off the seat but I did use the back brake and the friction zone to keep the bike in the circle for the most part. I thought about going back up there tomorrow and trying the *** off the seat method. Lol
