Customizing an older Heritage
Hello,
I haven't purchased the Heritage yet, but, want to know if some customising I have in mind is doable/feasible.
I like the idea of the softail ride, but, want some other features that are only available on harley touring bikes like the Ultra and Roadglides
What i want to do is, add the Ultra tour pack and Roadglide front fairing to a Heritage softtail ....year to be determined at this point.
I saw an article in a bagger mag recently that had added the roadglide fairing to an '05 Heritage so, presume that's ok ...wondering about the addition of the tour pack ... is the softtail suspension adequate for the additional weight or will modifications have to be made...and are they available at a reasonable price.
Appreciate any and all responses.

Yes, U cant do it easy for a batwing, don't know bout the frame mounted RG. Had 3 older bikes with the Vetter-- Wind-Jammer, but I don't think U can still get them.
No, it won't be toooo much weight. But the Tour pac on the rear of a heritage IMO don't look right, either get get the leather tour pack to match Ur bags or go with touring bags and tour pac. Just me.

HD even makes touring boxes to match Ur bags..
