Has anybody put a Touring Model Chopped Tour Pak on a Heritage or know of anyone that did this?
I'm thinking of it, my pad would work, my rack would work (with new holes drilled), the pak would be 5" lower, the pad would be 5" lower, be more stable being fiberglass, bought colored matched, be lockable.
I don't care about reduced height, actually want it lower, however it would be 1 3/4" wider on ea side, which would interfere somewhat with saddle bag lids, esp w/solo rack, but they are soft.
I could have a White Hot Pearl Bat Wing and White Hot Pearl Chopped box. I think it would be trick.. ....and down the road put some hard bags, also White!.........No I don't want a Touring model, had two!...joining both families for the best!
I found a fiberglass chopped tour pack on eBay that I am very interested in. There is a quick disconnect mount for the softails that are specifically for the tour packs i think they are about $300 and the pack itself is around $200 unpainted. I really want to do that set up.
