Tire reccomendation: 06-FLSTCI
Enter the "screw" .... that poked a really nasty ragged hole in my rear tire on yesterday's ride, I limped into a station with my wife covering for me in the rear with her flashers on (she has a lowrider...) and tried to plug the tire... no luck; just too big a hole, so we doubled up on her bike, went and got a trailer and got the bike home but now I need to decide what to run on the bike and go for new front and rear ASAP!
These Dunlop tires don't have all that many miles on'em and seem pretty shy in the thread dept. alrealy, I bet I put them on 6k ago perhaps... anyone else with that problem? Traci's lowrider has Metzeler "Marathon" tires and they are/seem to be really good tires.

How would the 880 Marathon hold up on a FLSTC?
I met some people of late running Michelin tires on Harley's and speak well of them. However they were on a Dyna:

Any suggestions? We live and ride mostly in Texas... what are you good folks running on your FLSTC'S???

edit: I'm running, at least I think, standard size tires:
front: MT 90 B-16 MC 72H
rear: 150/80 B16 MC 71H
true?? and if so is there an advantage with a larger/wider rear tire?

They just came out last fall and Michelin is claiming longer life out of the rear. 20+K..
I just got mine 2 weeks ago but won't need then for 3K more..
If true it'll set a whole new standard for rear tires.. I'd take 15k...
