I find it funny that the post asked a specific question, "yall tell me something bad about this bike". And when someone expresses an opinion that was asked for they get nothing but hate and ridicule being told that their bikes are cookie cutter pieces of crap.

That being said, I don't own a Xbone. I own a 97 springer and a "cookie cutter" street glide and 48 pan replica. I think the xbone is fine looking bike. I dig the springer front end. Bottom line is if the bike is proven mechanically sound, which I'm fairly sure is what the OP was really after, the only person who should care about the looks is the owner.

See unlike many of you, I could give a **** less what you think about any of my rides. My opinion is the one that matters.

What's even worse is when someone who does NOT own a X bones comes to the thread to put their 2 cents in...pretty sure the thread ask for opinions of X bone riders! Just sayin...

Damn Mark, ya take peoples opinions of other bikes aweful personal for someone who doesnt care....just sayin...LOL But seriously, I like all harleys, but alot of times Im drawn to the different ones. I like the springers and dare I say, even the rockers! I just feel like alot of times most factory bikes look about the same from HD. Except some have bags and others dont. Your right, ride what YOU like....thats why I have a CB even though my uncles say its ugly. I truly dont care.

BTW though, I would love to own every bike you have in your sig, and the 48 replica would be extra sick! Take care, and calm down Francis! HAHAHA

Buy it you wont be sorry. I own a '05 FL Springer
I was looking at X'bones when I came across it. Great bike, rode to Kansas last summer from here in Wisc. never uncomfortable (mustang wide solo seat).

Only things to to be aware of is staying up on the fork maint. Mine is every 2500 miles.
Taking it in for check. I hit a nasty expansion crack last week. Suspension bottomed out "hard".
The single piston front brake is satisfactory at best. Just ride smart, especially in traffic.
Would not hesitate to buy another Springer and another and.....

I've had mine over a year and I love it. Bought it off a forum member here last May and haven't looked back. Actually went to Harley today to test ride a street glide, for the windshield and hard bags, but ended up hating it. Don't see one of those in my future. I had already made a Craigslist posting banking on loving the bagger so check it out. It's not for sale anymore, but I won't take the post down

Hey Justin,

I actually saw your ad on CL this week (live in Chicago). The bones looks good, I like what you've done with it. Glad to hear you're keeping it too.
