Congrats on your first street bike! The Fatboy is a good first Harley to own. I took my own advice and did just that with my first Harley back in 2002. It was a 2002 Fatboy. The bike balances so well.

Welcome to the club. Like others have said, take the course and maybe the intermediate course too - it will help.
