solo bag mount?
I want to make a mount for the swing arm. So I can use bolts to mount my bag instead of the leather straps, means I could only get 3 to work. I know some of u guys have made them, but curious.how u mounted them to the swing arm and any tips or tricks ... damn smart phone doesn't like to use search option...
Here's what I did. Used a rod coupler, some socket cap screws, some fender and regular washers, and button head cap screws. It helps that I'm not running the upper or lower belt guard so I can use those 3 mounting points to secure it. There is a thread on here about another version, and I might make an aluminum plate to slip inside the bag and provide extra support, but this works just fine for now. Here's a few pics:
