All great advice guys, thanks!!

I ordered a set of Custom Chrome adjustable half-moon shaker floorboards from the local shop yesterday; should be here on Monday. My thought is to give them a try for awhile to find the perfect angle and height, and then have a friend fab something super custom on the CNC if they work. ;-)

I'm also gonna give Danny Gray a call and see what my options are, followed by a call to the Mean City folks. This bike is BAD ***... I need to make it work!!

Update: I was just playing around on the Mean City website and saw they open at 7AM, so I gave them a call- VERY nice folks. Turns out they can't do anything to help my situation on either the stock seat or the Danny Gray seat (I guess they are limited by the seats themselves).

Make an apointment at the nearest harley dealership.

Tell them you want to get properly "fitted" for you bike ..

they can help point out things that may be obvious in person but we aren't able to notice on the forum..

Handle bar reach and height, foot peg position, seat height in relation to the rest of the bike as well as the ground, when fitted perfect, you should be able to ride 500 miles a day on that thing

I have my Softail dialed in perfect, I moved every single thing, handlebars, mustang seat, floor boards moved WIDER out, and it's perfect now .. and I lowered it half inch, put in Progressive adjustable shocks ..

If you don't want to bring it to the dealership, have someone take a picture of you sitting on the bike in position, and post it here

I'm betting that using floorboards will allow you to reposition your feet to where your legs come off the seat at a higher angle not putting pressure on your nerve. Handlebar position will also play a part in this too as you need to find the comfortable angle for your back.

I put Progressive shocks and the danny grey seat WITH SADDLE GEL on my rocker and I NEVER get bothered by my butt! The danny grey seat and sterling seats are awesome!!!! Just came back from a 2 thousand mile trip and never had a problem! WAY BETTER than the stock seat. Better position also. Hey, another thing, I had to set up and ride my rocker for about 2 thousand miles before we fully became one...ZEN! Don't give up on her, make her yours! Check your shocks, the stock ones are really crappy...Dennis Kirk has good deal on Progressives.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Heartland seat a Danny Grey?

I called up Danny Gray today and spoke with a very helpful lady- it sounds like they're going to try to help me out somehow! She also informed me of another seat they make for the Rocker (not on the website) that puts the rider further forward and is designed for those under 5'8". She took down my contact info and the sales manager was supposed to to get ahold of me today; didn't happen, but I'm not worried. I'll give a call again next week if they don't get in touch with me. I'll keep posting my progress!
