Looks much better? And +1 on removing the reflectors.... just use some WD 40 on them, they will come off.

Looks good.. But a few longer distance rides or even a few short ones with a passenger and you may find yourself missing the sundowner from time to time. I just gave up the badlander for a C&C sport tour and it was the best investment I've made for the bike yet.

Default Ten Hours In The Saddle

Sundowner is the better "riding" saddle. But they look too darn big unless you make the bike bigger to handle it. It a truly great saddle but it looks like it came off a touring model. i.e. it sticks out like a sore thumb...

I extended my front end and to my eye it makes the Sundowner look a little more in proportion to the rest of my bike. Even if it is still on the large size---oh well. One thing's for certain, the Sundowner is staying.

My gold standard is to be able to ride ten hours straight with no pain anywhere. Otherwise the bike isn't an all day entertainment device, haha.

If I ever decide to switch out the styling and cut down my front end I wish somebody made a modern version of the early K model/Sportster mini-police sprung saddle. Those had a shock absorber built in and were tidy, compact, leather, mean looking...and COMFORTABLE.

Meanwhile I agree your bike looks much better. All of us would have to agree on that. But it is time to ask your butt about the change you just made...

Well, after an all day poker run on Saturday, I was feeling it in my lower half, but it looks good and I don't go on poker runs every day of the week.

Hey kiwideuce, I see that you have a swingarm bag, does that fit over a swingarm with a chrome cover on it?

If you have a little bit of paint thinner, just take a rag let the adhesive soak it up and it should wipe away very easily. Trust me it works and it won't damage you paint. Thinner will only take off primer. I use thinner a few time to remove sticker and reflectors off the bike and car.
