I had a Suzuki Boulevard that made my hands numb on two hour ride. ☹️ I’ve since gave that bike to a buddy of mine and acquired 3 Harley’s. An 05 sporty. Rubber mounts. An 08 heritage softail solid mounted and an 1996 ultra classic electraglide rubber mounts. None of them make my hands numb. The Electra vibes my vision a bit sometimes at certain speed though. ?? ☹️ I’m puttin a new tire on it in a few days and I just drilled out the pissy little centre in the mufflers and it seems to vibe less already ? Buddy that I gave the Suzuki to says it vibes less with his new Vance Hines I’m thinkin restrictive exhaust can cause Te engine to hit a little harder ? The heritage has V and H straight shots on her and I live ridin it at any speed A lot of factors can change the ride that’s for certain. Don’t give up on it yet good luck 👍

A company called Tom Hayden used to make them, maybe still do. I installed a set on my '91 softail years ago. It's essentially a round tube partly filled with a liquid or possibly small metal *****. You install one on your compensator sprocket and one on your clutch basket. They should work just like the balancing beads that have become popular for balancing tires. The internal media gets flung around in such a way that vibration amplitude is reduced. In my experience it helped some, but it was not a night and day solution. I'd suggest if anybody is having a real hard time with vibrations on their Evo, get a look at the polymer iso parts that connect your handlebar risers to the front end and see if they are set up correctly and in good condition. Also double check all motor and tranny mounting bolts for tightness as mentioned above. My son bought mine and eventually geared it taller which was very helpful. It was making plenty of torque to pull the taller gears, you'd hardly know the difference. I believe he used a 'European spec' rear sprocket, can't say the tooth count for sure but something like going down from 70 to 61.... This forced the installation of a new belt due to length needed.

Thanks for the fast as hell reply. I was curious for my 96” stroker shovelhead. Even balanced and geared taller the notorious vibrations are present. My 87 Electra cracked the right side case last fall. Had 93,000 plus miles on her. A buddy welded the aluminum case and I had flywheels rebalanced so that bike is actually real smooth now That old hag of a bike is roughly 93” power and torque wise. Stock stroke parted heads and a few other goodies. No need for a ugly new hd when I got 2 classics. Thanks for reply
