Over on the Ford Truck Powerstroke forum I frequently visit we call it "PMS" (Powerstroke Mod Syndrome).
Maybe here it is "HDMS" or "STMS"? I know the feeling all too well from experiences with my truck. Having developed a moderate level of immunity, I have been able to (barely) reign in the desire to do unspeakably crazy expensive things to my Springer Classic. Have restrained myself to windshield, LeatherPro saddle bags, Biker's Friend trunk bag, GPS mount and wiring, and a couple of new helmets so far.
But, I may need a booster shot soon because I am really jonesing for a paint job and white wall tire fix!!
Now there will be only one more gold live to ride eagle to get rid of. If anyone likes those I have a sissy bar medallion, timing cover, air cleaner insert, gas cap medallion and soon to be replaced derby cover that needs to leave my garage. Cheap.
Your not sick, just normal. In my case I have worked my whole life for others. I raised my kids alone. I have been dumping tons into my bike and my Cadillac. It's now "My time". If you are making your bills and taking care of your family don't worry about it. You only live once. As long as you are not hurting anyone and taking care of business then enjoy. We are not promised tomorrow so live and have fun today.

Amen to that Brother! Only one kick at this can, give it a good one!
Live every day like it's your last, 'cause one day, it will be!!!
