V&H Longshots or Rush Long Style?
UPDATE: changed my mind and won't be going with these pipes. (see new post).

U for sure will get a better looking pipe with either (I don't care for the stacked look either) And I like V&Hs, but even the BSL's will not have a deeper sound than Ur Rush..
Also U'll have a Drop in TQ in the 2 -3K area with the long pipes vs even the BSS's.. See below.
The Rush has a full ceramic coating inside and out that is supposed to significantly reduce heat which would be nice. Not sure if V&H has that feature or not. Also, wonder if the "crossover" on the Rush system is necessary or will the regular Longs be good?
NO.. V&H's doesn't have the coating inside. and yes anytime U have a crossover it will help a little, but nothing close to a good 2-1 system.
Any opinions from anyone with either of these full exhaust systems? Sound loud and deep or raspy?, quality, performance, etc? Happy with your choice or not?
I also have have my Rush slip ons for 5+ yrs and they still look new..
But I also know that V&H's are great pipes, Chrome and perf are pretty good.
I've not seem any dyno sheets to compare Rush's long pipes VS V&H''s.
Appreciate any help making up my mind.
Thanks...David
One with BR's2-2 and the other with BBL's.. both tuned by the same master wrench and at the same dealer on the same machine, of course 2yrs apart..
Here's U can see the difference in the TQ on the dyno sheets . in the 2.3K -3.2K rpm area..
Here is the sheet 09 NT with BSL's.

Here is the sheet of his 07 Duece with BR's 2-2 NOTE U have to go to the right side of the page and come in to get the TQ number on this sheet..
Dont know why Russ didn't print it where the number where the same on both sides of the sheet,, just didn't...

Bottom line is the BR's 2--2 made 87#'s of TQ at 2500 rpms.
While the BBL's only made 70#'s of TQ at 2500 rpms...
Peak number are not much diff, but the TQ in the 2200 -3200 rpms is worth looking at.. Thats where we (well, most of us) ride 75% of the time..
IMHO even a lot of 2-1's dont do a lot better that he got on the BR's 2-2
I wish I could see some Rush Sheets,, maybe some of the members who have them would start posting them in the --- DYNO of Softails ---Thread in the softail section.. Sticky Tread at the top...

Before i had the V&H big shots staggered on my fxstc '07, nice chroom but bad sound: a lot of noise but no deep rumble, much much too raspy IMO.
After a long search I ended up with Rush slip-ons with 2" baffles: also great chrome quality and better sound, more deep rumble, more bass...
I know many people like V&H, but I'd go for Rush.
