Default lifter bleed down?

Alright installing my tw 555 in my 96" deuce. And just a question about installing the quick adjust push rods. Says to allow litter bleed down between installations. Will they bleed down once pressure is on then. Bike has been apart for 2 days. And they still seem normal. Shouldn't the centers bleed down more? But then again they might.be. been long night at work. But with that being said how do I know if they are.built up? And if you are setting them on base circle on cam. Why do u need to wait? They r at lowest point and least opening. Just has me slightly confused

For lifter bleed down, the opposite cylinder has to be at TDC, which puts the pushrods you are working on, on the base circle. You adjust the rods as per manufacturer instructions and then let the lifter bleed down until you can rotate the pushrod with your fingers.

Here is an excellent source if you're not using it already. It is a cam install write-up by a member here.

another is a video by S&S:

If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. I did this install a year ago.
