* forgot to say ~~ when I did smoke cigs I just rode with one hand and kept my smoke in my left hand - pointed backwards and "cupped"
LMAO. See how that affects your short term memory? A windshield doesn't help much and its hard to cup a cigar. Sounds like the perfect time to find a watering hole for a good Bourbon to me.
To OP: Windshield with lowers will help, but there will be wind, and where there is wind, your cigar will burn faster. The more wind, the faster it will burn. If you can do so safely, enjoy.
Be kind to the natives. They already don't like you because you ride a noisy motorcycle, which, as we all know, is totally unsafe, since it does not have seat belts, or airbags, or a roll cage. And you can only get one passenger on it, unlike the 7 passenger minivan they are driving.
I too am an avid cigar smoker. The fact is that you will never enjoy a cigar while riding. I have done it, but never enjoyed it. A cigar is meant to enjoy, and on a bike, that will never happen. Wait until you stop or before you ride... Just my opinion.
