If it's a true Florida bike, double check all the leather and the chrome.. The salt air and sun has been known to destroy both.. You don't want to start pricing out the ebay replacements cost for Heritage Springer parts.
If it is truly in "great" condition then that is not a bad price at all. 38K miles is not a lot in my opinion. If it runs as good as it looks then you may want to take it!
Not yet. It's about 4 hours away and I just sold mine sunday...it will be this weekend before I can get to it. if it's still around
If that bike checks out good and isn't a rust bucket, that's actually a killer deal. 38K miles is not high mileage on an EVO. At that price you need to jump on it with cash in hand. I'd pull a day off to go look at it if I were you. I'd first ask him to be as honest and descriptive as possible prior to your 8 hour round trip. I'd also request that he hold it until I arrive and not sell it while you're in route. Just let him know what time he can expect you, and ask that he advises any other inquiries to call back after the agreed time. That way you don't make the trip for nothing and he don't lose a potential sale.
If it's in good condition, at that price I highly suspect it probably won't be available this weekend.
