Internal wiring is a much cleaner look. It will take you longer to do, but every time you ride you look at your bars and feel happy that you took the time to do it right.

Oh, that sucks.

Well, I like your new ones better anyway.

But.... those Wild 1 Outlaw Cubbys are my favorites I have seen. I may try to take on this project after all.

Looks like they are $219 - $225....not too bad if I can figure out how to do it all. Lol

While you're at it......might as well go internal everything, really cleans up the look! And if you don't want the jockey shift, Exile makes a sweet internal twist clutch to match the throttle. I have the Todd's Cycle 10" chubby strippers, they are predrilled for internal, and can be set up for throttle by wire if you need it. They line up real nice with the forks, and if you REALLY want clean, the GripAce setup can't be beat. Here's a couple pics.

Ran the brake internal too, I can send you the parts list if you like

Man..dude, those looks amazing! I never realized how clean your bars and set up was. Your sig pic doesn't do it justice! lol

Now you have me thinking... more decisions. Internally wiring everything may be a bit over my head though. I am trying to convince myself that I can even internally wire the controls...muchless the brake and clutch! HA!

Messy garage aside.... I got a pic of me on the bike sitting how I typically do when riding. I am 5'10" and 185lbs and my arms are just about level with the stock bars with them rolled forward. They are really comfortable to me. Also, I am about to get my seat custom fit, with new cover and foam that will sit me perfect in the saddle. It's gonna be sick looking also (not to mention be even more comfortable).

So with all that said, I am thinking about trying to figure out a way to drill holes in my stock bars and then get some braided cable for the throttle and clutch cables to clean it all up. I just need to figure out a way to hold the bars to drill them. I have the dremel (best investment ever) and a drill... just no vice.

Internally wiring is easy to do. Strip off the stock plastic tubing off the wires then get some shrink wrap tubing to cover your wires with. I ran a piece of heavy gauge wire thru the bars then taped the wires to the end of the lead wire then pulled them thru easy stuff.

OH and maybe it was said already but for sure disconnect your file line at your tank or you will snap the line at he injector like I did . And be sure to put a towel down on your felt rocker box or your cross over fuel line connector will scratch the hell out of your chrome when you slide your tank back another hard lesso n learned
