Why would i need to strip the wires and then shrink them back together? Cant I just unplug them at the wire harness and run them through thag way? Maybe you were thinking I was going to have to go with longer wires? I am trying to stay at the same height bars (or drill holes in my stock bars) and run those internally.

Yea, I did know I needed to disconnect the fuel line....I just need to google or youtube it to see how to do it. Also, good call on protecting the chrome... I would not have thought about that. Lol

If your not changing the bar hight then leave the wires alone.

suggest adding an inch to the cross over line incase you want to do a tank lift down the road.

Ok,... I figured he thought I was going to go higher. I have thought about it but I think the 12" height feels pretty good and I am probably going to stay with my stock bars for now and try to figure out a way to drill holes to run the wires.

I won't be doing a tank lift, just not crazy about the way it looks.

I am still debating on getting those 12" Wild 1 Outlawz. I could use my current cables and just move everything over to the new bars. I wouldnt even need to undo the clutch or throttle cables would I? Juwt leaven them connected to the switch box or whatever. Shouldn't I just be able to unplug the wires at the harness and run them through the bars, then connect my switches and that's it?
