Default Gas light always on

I have an 06 train that i purchassed about 2 years ago. Love it!!! But the damn gas light has always been on since I got it. Anyone ever had this issue???

Yeah I get it on occasions along with the needle on the gauge showing empty, usually after I've filled up, sorts itself out after 2 or3 miles though, you've probably got a loose connection somewhere if the lights staying on.

Sounds like your float is stuck inside the tank. Just use the odometer

I'm fine with using th odometer but i'm sick of having tha damn light on

Check the manual, see if there's a fuse you can pull

If you have the flush mount led fuel gauge, there is a bypass wire (usually grey) that is hooked up so that light will stay off. Check the connection of that wire, I had mine come loose before. You'll find it right under the tank where the fuel gauge wires are.

Sweet. I'll check that connection. I do have le LED flush mount gauge but even before I changed it the damn light was still alwaysm on. I'll check it out and let u know.
