Question? How many makers and who are they if there are more then one of the 39" cholo's? Is there one better than the other if there are more then one? It seems like all I have heard about are the Samsons. I don't care about price, I only care about quality and that is NOT because I am rich but because I hate buying junk/crap. If I can't afford the best I wait until I can before I settle for anything less then quality 1st. Besides, it's a winter mod project so I have time to read, listen to who personally own what they have gone with, why and then to save too. I am also looking into the 1.5", 16" Gangster apes so what is that going to cost me with everything including the bars, risers, cables and anything else I will need? Thanks in advance for all who have them and their input and who takes the time to reply.
I am running Samson. And there top quality, and sound wicked. I had the mini cholos. But I couldnt get the rap with them..(the Jake brake sound on decel) So I spoke to Jessica at Samson. And told me to get the 33 with the 1 3/4 dia pipes. And let me tell you they sound bad ***, the crome is top notch.. There not cheap but neither is my bike.... Heres a pic with the mini cholos

Reason: pic
Those are 33"?? They look like the 39's but I have little exposure to them too. Also, did you get straight or baffled pipes? Did you require re-tuning it or re-dyno your bike afterwards? Is your motor stock? Mine sled is far from stock so I am wondering about that too.

No thats a pic of my 36 inch... And my motor is a bone stock 96 c.i.. I am running a ness big sucker, a powercommander .and there non baffled...I have been told when I due the gear drive my bike might get louder??.oh well.
33" unbaffled here. The bike ran okay when I first installed them, but there was definitely some low end torque loss. It was especially noticeable at highway speeds. It was so bad I eventually had cams and a dynotune. BIG difference. Sounds and runs badass. I've never heard another bike that has the same growl in decel as mine.
