Hey all,
I'm new to the forum though I have been here as a visitor for a long time. I'm in the USAF currently stationed at Aviano Air Base, Italy. I have a 2012 Softail Deluxe that I got back in June. Since then I have added a Lindbar crash guard, Danny Gray Buttcrack Solo seat, Vance & Hines Slip-ons (temp till I get the Samson true duals I want), Vance & Hines fuelpak, Arlen Ness Big Sucker intake, Roland Sans Gas caps, gips pegs and numerous other bolt-on goodies. Coming soon is a set of beach bars (still deciding on brand), more Roland Sands goodies, wheels and Burly slammer kit.
Very, very nice! I love your bike! The Deluxe is one of the few new bikes I'd consider. The chrome classic round horn cover from HD would match well. Beautiful bike.....beautiful scenery.
Beauty! Do the license plate relocator from Softbrake, it really cleans up the tail and helps to show off that beautiful rear fender. Other than that, I'd stop there and just ride!
Thank you for your pics ..... love the Deluxe model can really take it and customise the **** of it .... tell me how do you find riding in the wet on those cobble stone's or don't you? ....
I try to avoid wet cobble stone but it's not all that bad as long as your going a moderate speed, not too slow and not too fast. I do want to relocate the license plate but it is illegal here in Italy. Once I move the plate will move to a side mount. The plates here in Europe are ridiculously big any way.
Agreed the License plates here in Europe are crazy they are more like advertising boards have only had 7"x4" on my bikes and been given tickets and had my plates photograped by the police a few times Ł60 a go ... still F##k it as long as it don't spoil the look of the bike ...... the only reason i asked about the cobbles is one of the worst places i have ridden was Budapest and believe me when it's wet you tend to ride with a death grip while reciting the Lords prayer! ....
