Bar mount Dyna speedo on a Softail?

Does anyone know if you can use a Dyna speedo on a softail? I'm wanting to change my tank and put the bar mounted dyna speedo on my softail. Any help would be appreciated!

I want to do the same, throw a blackline dash on my softail and handlebar mount new gauges.

Did you do it?

No. Didn't do it. I ended up putting an Autometer speedo off the side of the rocker box. It was way easier. I did do some talking with the woman at the parts counter at the Harley shop. She did a lot of looking at pictures and comparing part numbers and decided that it wouldn't work because the speed sensor is different.
