SO just read the whole thread. Huge respect for you CT. Love the bike.

Dunno if you're still interested in opinions on changes - but I have to say, when you said you were sticking with the raw tank and "oiling it down with a rag once in a while" I had a ****-eatin' grin on my face.

That is one of the more BA things I've ever heard of. So with that said, I think you should pick up a steel rear fender and fab struts and leave it "raw and oiled down" like the tank. That and ditch the front fender altogether.

Just my 2 cents, not that I really even have the right to give them! Again, congrats on probably my favorite build ever. Love the bike and stay safe man. Oh and sorry for you loss.

Peace

Thanx for the comps!!

I have been back and forth with the rear fender set up for a while. Deep down I prefer the fabbed steel one. But the CBR one is pretty cool and the bottom line is that right now I am too lazy to have the tabs welded on. I just straightened out an electrcal problem and I am lookin forward to gettin in a bunch of ridin. The front fender stays, I love it!!

As you know, no build is ever "done", so I will probably end up changin it, just a matter of when.

No, I havent. The one I mocked uo in that pic is what I would go with if I changed it. I like the stubby look of it. Sorta maintains the "chopper / bobber" look with the wheel hangin out.

Got a couple hours saddle time today. Runnin strong, no issues. Gonna have to get the battery back in the punisher pretty soon, oil plugs etc.

Figured I would post some "front view" pics that dont emphasize the crazy *** rear end. Looks pretty good from this angle.
