Default This cold air sure makes em run

today 57 degrees is are high went for 100+ mile ride engine seems to love this cool air runs strong and seems like all the normal twin cam 88 sewing machine sounds Disappear .

Cold air = higher air density, more oxygen for the BANG. Also the cooler air thickens the lubricating oils, even when the engine is warmed up, and the engine runs cooler too.

I noticed the same thing on my Iron.

You mentioned sewing machine sound of the Twin Cam.
Do all modern Harley's have that sound now or what?
I finally installed Short Shots and the roar from those drown out all that I once heard.

Pretty much...but on the bright side, if you get the Harley part number
#HD-0987654567 embroidery attachment you can knock out some pretty awesome shirts while you ride...
