I have a 2002 FXSTBi 98 cu in. EFI and it runs great with one exception. When I travel and I'm strolling down the Big Road about 75 - 80 mph for extended periods of time. When it's time for a break or fuel and I hit the ramp and slow down the bike wants to die when I approach the stop sign or light. I'm able to keep it running if I feather the throttle but that's getting old and I want to fix the problem. I never have this issue when riding below 60 mph or around town.
Some thoughts that I have are possible fuel pressure, fuel filter, tank vaccum and exhuast back pressure.
When I rebuilt the motor I started with a high output stage 3 flash from Harley and have had it fine tuned on the dyno from there. The bike runs great with the exception of getting off the interstate after long high speed rides. I have not had any other issues.

Is this weather temperature sensitive? IOW, once you get the bike really warmed up in hot weather?
You had a dealer do the dyno?
You're using a stock ECM?
If the AFR is done by a dealer it is EPA compliant... i.e. lean. Heat and lean don't like each other but you would probably have problems in parade idling also.
I haven't really paid attention to temp. It has been doing it all summer though. It has started to cool down here so I will be able to tell for sure. The dealership did do the initial high output stage 3 flash and someone else did the fine tune on the dyno on the factory ECM.
How much fuel is in the tank when this happens? I ran mine REALLY low once and as I came to a stop it would die. Since I put 4.9 gallons in it, I assume what gas was in there was running away from the pick-up. Certainly could be pin holes in your fuel line in the tank so when you run the gas below the hole(s) it starves. Just an idea.
