Dying battery
My dad's 2000 fatboy's battery died after sitting in the garage a few days. The battery is brand new. Push started it and put a multi meter on it. It's charge while its running. So what could be causin the issue. Could the rectifier be draining it while it sits?

Maybe it wasn't fully charged up when you bought it, you could have been unlucky and got a duff battery to start with, something could be draining it alarm if its got one, try fully charging it and see how it goes, presumably it's under warranty so if it is the battery you can change it.
