Default what size apes

I'm 5'10'' what size apes on a deluxe with 2'' risers, and a C&C barebones type solo seat, I don't want to be reachin too far, 14s or 16s,

Depends on how far above your shoulders you want them. Lol I think you could go with either 14's or 16's. Personally, I have 12" and I love them. I am 5'11" and they are right even with my shoulders.... my arms are basically straight and to me, really comfortable. But it also depends on your seat and how you sit on the bike. I sit almost straight up, maybe leaning forward just a little...but I also have them rolled forward. I don't like slouching in the saddle.

Agreed - 14" or 16". I've got 16s on 1.5" risers, pushed forward, and when I sit up really straight (as I do when I see LEOs), they are at my shoulders or a bit lower. I'm 6'.

Thanks for the link, i've already decided on the Carlini gangsters, and I think that the 16's look the best, I could do with seeing some with a rider on so I can see what sort of height they are in relation to the shoulders, I dont want to look odd and to be reaching too much.

Remember that the Carlini's run a little bit taller than other brands like Wild 1's. It all depends on what you are comfortable with.

Cheers, Yeah thats what I'm scared of, those things are $350 plus the hassle of getting them fitted, only to find out that they may be a liitle on the tall side for me.
Who's got 14's? please show me

I have Santee 14s on mine - pics in my album.

I'm almost 5'10 and they fit perfect with a LePera bare bones for seat.
