Try bare bones Lepera. Very low and sits you back between 2 and3 inches from stock.
....and is like sitting on a cinder block.. I have one, and it's very uncomfortable. But if you're not going to be doing any long trips, it'd be fine if it's the look you're going for. It looks great on Chilango's bike, but I don't like the look of it on mine.

For the long range comfort the Corbin and Mustang touring seats are the way to go but you pay for that comfort, $500-600 range.

Most other seat mfg produce cool looking stuff, but its for the "city bikes". The stock deluxe is a nice looking city bike seat, but lacks any real back support for the long haul. If you are young and tough you won't have a problem. But us older folks with rubber butts get butt burn with that stock seat in a hour or so in the saddle.

As I said in the other thread on Sundowner seats. The sundowner may be a good compromise for folks who like to do the longer rides, and club events. Its reasonably priced and easy to find. Looks dorky but does provide a much higher level of support.

Good luck in your quest for the "right seat"

I put a '99 Springer seat on my wife's '06 Deluxe. Definitely an improvement. Plus she gets fringe!!!. Yes, the rail will fit.
