Does anyone out there know why Harley-Davidson Flamed Upper Fork Slider Cover 46165-03 should not fit or be made to fit my 2006 flstfi fatboy pls? The instructions say Fits '49-'84 FL and '80-later Touring models but they look just the same as mine. I would love to have these on my bike but thought i would ask you good people for advice on this.
Thanks very much for the reply and for taking the time to take pictures my friend. I could not have wished for a more direct answer to my question. Great stuff, i will go ahead and order them.
