Thinking about installing a windshield on my 06 springer classic, anyone have any thoughts pro or con. I do not have auxiliary lights yet, not sure that I want to add at this point, but would that make a difference of type of windshield that I would chose from if I added lights later. Thanks for any input.

i have the smoked one on my 05 classic, i love it , its a detachable one, nice and easy too remove and install, looks real nice to , i have the bags also so it goes together , and i also have the passing lamp kit ,smoked , with smoked signals looks nice. i also leave the shield on most the time , i still get wind , but its a more enjoyable ride , just my 2 cents

Do yourself a favor, get a detachable windshield. If you do any kind of highway and long miles, you will love the winshield, then on short trips you can always take it off and play rock and bug catcher!!!

Detachable...everything, I go with...so when the girls not on back I can make her look lean..and mean.
