I love riding at night, especially alone on dark deserted back roads. Just me, the wind, and what's in the headlight. Quite peaceful and relaxing actually.

Once you find the light you want, the aiming is pretty simple. It's all in the manual, but IIRC, the center of the high beam should be at about 35" above the ground at 25' from the face of the lamp with the bike in riding position (vertical with you sitting on it) on a level surface. This is for stock height front ends, adjust accordingly if you're lowered.

Planning on doing a HID kit this winter on mine, one of the plug and play units off eBay. There was a thread about on here within the last month or so.

Good luck and let us know what you decide on, and of course pics!

Yeah I just did the $28 ebay HID kit...the one mod I had to add was a 20A on/off switch for the headlight ($4) The bike cranks so much better without the light on now so that's a bonus anyway.

Works great so far and its like daylight and can be seen very well. One of the best mods Ive done, really sets the bike apart in a pack which is just kind of cool on top of the whole functional aspect.

Is there a good write up somewhere on how to install one of those?

You are right on the mark, Ive been wanting an adjure tribar black dot for awhile now. I just cant decide what pattern reflector would work the best with this HID...

I've got what i got, so if I do it, I'll let you know how it works with the pattern I have. I must not have been paying attention when I got my light, cuz I don't remember there being so many reflectors available. It was either a blue or black dot.
By the way, Motown, love the pipe on your ride. Sweet bike.

I like the $9 Autozone superbright white, myself. Works great and is cheap without having to convert to HID.

Diamond, wave or pie cut...I have a 7in lamp. Then there's blue dot, black dot, skull & iron cross..lol

Thanks on the pipe...the only way I could get something different in a 2 into 1 was to buy a pipe thats been discontinued for 3 years (NOS). Finding my shark fin tip (not pictured yet) took 4 months to find and it was just dumb luck. I gotta do **** the hard way
