Switch to 160 front and possibly black powder on wheels, maybe whitewalls
YES! your version #1 whitewalls would look AWESOME on your scoot!
Just them and some white nostagic grips EVERTHING else black.. love that look plus it would stand out just a bit from the other blacked out bikes IMO
Oh yeah I'm in Sharpsburg not far at all from you in Braddock Htgs, we do need to get together and ride or mod the bikes!

I like what you've done so far, that is a great looking bike! My favorite model softie by far. What did you do with the paint?
here's a sneak preview still has to be pinstripped with gold to separate the black and dragonfly green and then 61-62 tank emblems hopefully will be done monday
I gotta do something with my cams. I still have the spring tensioners. I hope to go S&S gear 510's if the run out is good. If not Andrews 26n's and the updated oil pump and tensioners.

I like where the line between the color split on the fenders is. Higher than a stock two tone...the colors are great, post pics when you get them on
My 92 Heritage is getting a well needed face lift this winter . Getting Carlini 16" apes with braided cables , Mikuni carb with Kuryakn Hypercharger breather and to top it off a set of 42" samson Cholos .
Come on spring.
In addition to my post above, I have had people send my side messages saying " Oh NO, NOT ANOTHER SOCAL" style bike. My answer to that is yes, there seems to be a ton of them on here but 1, I don't care what others think. I am cool with suggestions, tips and comments but when it comes down to it, it's my bike, my money and the vision I had when I bought this bike. I am also cool with being ribbed and teased, I can take a joke as well. 2, I have seen literally thousands of bikes this summer and surrounding area, been to all the biker bars in the area, gone to many party's and pig roasts and run's and I have yet to see 1 single SoCal style bike in my area and I am less then 50 miles from Chicago so it's not like I am out in the "Bonnies" either! The ONLY thing I am having trouble with figuring out it what size Gangster's I want to put on my bike and the risers as well. I have come up with this game plan so tell me if it will work. I am just going to go ahead and get the 16's 1.5's and then play with the height of them with the risers I end up using to make it fit me best. I hate buying chit only to have it end up hanging on my garage walls collecting dust. Also jreichart, I like your bike with the wide white walls best, they really stand out on your bike, they give it better lines and more definition, IMHO that is!!!

The Softail is getting lowered 2" via Dead Creek kit, a chrome oil tank, chrome primary covers, brake pads. Possibly new cams.
XL1200 is also getting rear lowered 2" by Burly shocks, gonna get one of DK's speedo re-positioners, and raise the front of the tank a couple inches. Considering 4" over fork tubes but haven't looked into the details of that yet.
