Default 2012/13 Winter Mods

Alright guys, what you got going on this winter? Parts, paint, freebie mods, wild, mild or just dreaming out loud...lets hear it.

Ive been stockpiling parts for a while now, cant wait to get started but I might still have a couple good riding days before I tear the back end and tin off.

My plans:

Chrome Swing Arm - Ricks Plating
Rear billet caliper brkt and 4 piston caliper
DNA chrome spoke pulley and hardware (all guards coming off)
Frt billet caliper
RSD nostalgia timing cover
RSD nostalgia Rocker covers
Covingtons billet horn
RSD Tracker gas caps

Love to ride but I love to tinker just as much, gonna be a good winter

An RSD or PM air cleaner would look good on your bike

Plans so far:

Replace stock dash with blackline tank cover

Tank lift 1.5 or 2"

Rocker mtd speedo and ign switch on custom bracket

Figure out paint for tins, had clear coat and some paint peel around the front seat mount bolt, not sure what to do yet, either all flat black or a flat black stripe to tie into flat blackline dash

Switch to 160 front and possibly black powder on wheels, maybe whitewalls

That's all I got so far! We'll see what the winter brings!

Cheers!

Big Bore kit, either Hillside or FuelMoto.
Flush mount gas cap and gauge.
Have a set of the wing style rear signals with the LEDs in the bar I need to fit with the sissy bar.
If I feel real ambitious, polish the fork lowers.

Just my opinion, jreichart, but I don't know that whitewalls would look right on your bike. Maybe want to photoshop that 1st.

Winter Mods sitting in my living room floor waiting to be installed:
ShotgunShock
Dynojet PC3
Springer style horn
Deluxe style front fender--smoothed (need to put coat of clear and wet sand + buff)

Would love to get different wheels....always watching for deals on crapbay, craigslist, and swapameets etc... First gotta get my back operated on...so I guess add that to the list.

Already done. Here's a couple options:

Or a crappy photoshop of all black.

All three look good, I'm partial to the second one. The silver gives some nice contrast.
