Hello I've been searching for the past couple days and would like to find out if the console part # 71208-07 will fit the 2012 FLSTN, I know It has a odometer reset switch, but Im not to concerned with that I can just plug it myself. Im worried If there is any wiring problems.
Someone here helped me by telling me that 71202-03 fits a 2012 flstn, and that description is the same as the the 71208-07.
Both of them will fit- neither of them will work. Wiring was changed after 2010 in the Heritage, Deluxe etc. It is the lighting assembly controls above your switch that is the problem. Eveything else is swapped out of your exisiting dash. I keep hoping some egghead on here can figure a way around this,I have been waiting two years lol.

Then you and I both have to do some investigating, I have had the low profile dash in my hands, and we could not get it to work at the dealer on my 2011 Heritage, with the new wiring, how he did with his deluxe I do not know. The reset switch was non issue, we new about that from the start.
For 71202-03, the speedo and indicator lamps bar snap in the same way they do on the stock dash (the indicator opening is a large rectangle). Softail, there are good pics showing this in a thread YOU started!
For 71208-07, it looks like you'd have to wire the individual indicators in place of the newer bar to get it to work...I don't know anything about this business.
I have wanted one for quite some time, there was some other posts that I went into more detail. I know that on the low profile dash 71208-07 the little lighting array that is above your dial is part of the low Profile dash- everything else from your existing dash gets swapped out. The low profile dash 71208-07 will not fit, the connector on the lighting assembly is 8 pin as opposed to 6 pins on the 11 up,but the other dash should work.

the rectaungular bar abover the switch is the same size as previous models right, if it is i will just go ahead and order it to see if I can make it work, again thanks for the help
It would seem to reason if one dash would work they both should. I just took a good look at the schematics on the Harley site and Ronnies. My issue may have been with the Cats eye dash on the Heritage. Let us know how it works.
I put the 71202-03 on my 09 Heritage but I had to order the dash lights for a Deluxe or Fat boy,And I had to make a bolt with a tab welded on it to go into the fuel pump cover.Other than that it should work an 11 n up by doing the same thing.
