Worth the money is hard to quantify, but I did the SE 103 kit w/255 cams straight out of the catalogue on a '10 Heritage and am happy with it. You can probably get more bang for your buck with some of the aftermarket stuff, but I ride a Harley and I like SE stuff. Others will differ with that. I kinda wish I would have heads done while it was apart, but not so much that I will go back into it just for that.

Thanks for the info. Did you have it on the dunk before and after. I have been getting quotes for 2k parts and labor and end up with 100 he.

Nope on the dyno, I am not that into it. It just has the remap. Had 07 RK with a stock 96 and it was a dog. I knew wanted something I could ride 2 up, twist the throttle in 6th and would accelerate. The 255 cams do that for me. They are a low end, high torque cam that will run out at a high RPM but are great for the kind of riding I do. There are as many cam choices as there are oil choices and you kinda need to know what you want so you aren't disappointed. There is a dyno sticky here where folks posted their numbers and build. That can give you an idea on what to expect when making your decision. I was out the door at a little over $2K 3 years ago.
Most people 80% or so are happy with Stg1 and Cams.
Nothing wrong with a BB kit, just seem like More Touring guys do it to get their big heavy bike moving and get better highway passing...
U need to look at some Dyno sheets to see what others are getting from different builds. U'll learn quite a bit more about what to do after going through it.
I didn't bother with the big bore on my bike, I just did cams and had the heads ported and polished. Very happy with the results, 95/105 and that's with V&H short shot pipes.
