Anyone have pics of a Heritage w/black studs? Also, anyone know where to get black studs? i checked Mustang and J & P, Google didn't turn up anything else. There's a couple threads on HDF but no pics or sources. I like the bags but thinking of getting rid of the bling and don't want to paint them.
Thanks

See my response to the thread you just responded to 90 minutes ago.
Yep I did see your response Doc. Thank you for the info.
Glad to help. I give you credit for even considering the task of replacing all of the studs on both bags. It seems that that is definitely easier than painting all of them.
You have a Heritage also. What's worse, replacing each stud or cleaning each spoke in both wheels?

I'd say probably the studs Doc. But I've been very bad. I can't remember the last time I cleaned my spokes. So now that you've made me feel guilty I will retire to the garage and give my spokes some TLC. I'd guesstimate it's at least a two Corona job. When it comes down to it, I'll probably back off on black studs. I'd hate to take away from the natural theme of the Heritage. When you see those bags coming down the street, you know what model it is

that's funny I probably take better care of my spokes. It's pretty easy with a spoke brush, but by the time I get to cleaning the bags--last because they are sitting on the bench at this point, I am about 6 beers in and have lost interest.
