Turn off HD Security
Tried that - didn't work. I'm at work now - I'll try again tonight and let you know how it goes. Its got 2 fobs so maybe only one has been setup and I was using the wrong fob.
Thanks for the quick response! Iowned a sportster several years ago. This is my first full grown HD - figure I have a lot to learn. I boughta maintenance manual. It tells how to do everything with the alarm systemafter it has been turned off

Thats correct you have to push the fob 2 times fast. When the alarm is disabled the four way flashers will blink. By the way I was told that the receiver for the alarm system is in the handlebar under the left side grip. Don't know this for a fact just what I was told.
Tried the two quick clicks when I got home - I wasn't clicking quick enough! That might be a good safety feature to keep my @ss off the road if I've drinking
Thanks everyone. I'm glad I found this forum. I had a good Corvette forum when I had a couple of vettes for toys. Sold the vettes and bought the Harley! I'll be back with better news and pictures soon!

Hopefully, all your bike problems will be so easily solved.
I always stand in the front, facing the bike and aim at the left turn signal. No particular reason, other than to see the blinkers flash. Twice I have either forgotten to disarm the alarm or didn't do it right. It is a bit embarrassing trying to start the bike with thesiren going off. One of the times the siren went off, I was looking around to see where the noise was coming from. My full face helmet muffled enough of the volume that it sounded like it was coming from another vehicle, further away.
