Thanks for the response.

My main concern was the RSD Vintage 12" rise with 4" pullback. I really like the look but wanted little more pullback, hence I was looking at risers. In this style I would have to go 16" to get 6" pullback.

However, I found Santee low Bonanza Fat Bars, 11" rise with 6" pullback. From my measurements sitting the bike this fits a lot better. I went ahead and ordered them, however there back ordered till sometime in January. I should be good with no riser's and the pullback I want. I just have to wait now.

The less riser, the better. I kept my stock risers, I think 1.5 inch, under my 18" apes. I think they would look really $hitty with bigger risers. IMO.

Although a little late in the game, I have to agree with everyone else. Tall risers with apes look terrible. Here is a pic of my old Streetbob with 4" risers and the stock 12" mini apes, and as you can see it looks way out of proportion. Then another pic with 1.5" risers and 16"x1.25" Wild1 Chubby apes. My current bike has a set of Drag Specialties Buffalo Apes which have the same dimensions as Carlini apes. They are 16"x1.5" 41" wide and have 9.75" of pullback and they are pointed straight up. That is another thing you see alot of and that is people that lean the apes back to follow the lines of the forks. That alone ruins the looks of the entire bike. By the way, I am 5'7" and my current setup fits me fine. The last pic is of my current setup.

Your bike, your opinion.
Just say'in, at my age I can't sit-up that straight for very long anymore.
For Me it's a matter of function over style.
To Me, straight up looks like if you put a *****'s jeep windshield on a Corvette. It just doesn't flow with the lines.
But like I said, I'm not judging your style. To each their own.

I have always had bikes with low handlebars. Right up to the drag bars on my Night Train. I just bought a Heritage and will have to get used to those bars. I may need to find a way to move them closer. If not I may have to go back to some beach bars or similar.
