Wooow, that is fresh. I'm really diggin it. Can't wait to see the painted fender and anything else you decide to do to it. And sorry if someone asked already but what exhaust is that?
Just wanted to say that I think the bike is AWESOME. The paint is completely beautiful. I had a similar thing in mind, and was going to use a heavy metal flake. (Unfortunately I let the body shop talk me out of it. If I remember right they told me that their guns couldn't handle throwing down the bigger flake). I am already kind of bored with the paint scheme that I had chosen. I always loved that root beer color, but I never knew what to mate it with (black is simple enough to think of, isn't it?!). Looks AWESOME, man. Can't wait to see pictures of it all done! The more and more fender stretches I see, the more I want to have mine done. Yours is very well done..
Enjoy a couple of my Night Train work in progress:
Both of these colors have a metallic in them that looks similar to gold flecks in the sun (but it is definitely not a heavy flake).

Thanks, and the pipes are Vance & Hines Softail Duals.

Thanks man, Yeah, you need special guns to shoot the bigger flakes. Im in Socal, so theres plenty of custom painters around here that can shoot flake no problem.
I was going to do a cream white instead of the black, but i didnt think it would look good against all my black powder coated stuff. It would look good against chrome tho.

Yeah, those colors look awesome as well, but you are right.. Better suited with chrome. I am going to keep a little chrome on mine, but would like to black a lot out. I am having a hard enough time trying to find a Fatboy/softail deluxe front end for it. I would like to find one I can trade my FXST front end for (and I would even throw in the spare exhaust I have).. I just can't seem to find an opportunity. I would black that out as well. Keep the headlight trim ring chrome, the cowl mounting plates on the sides of the trees would stay chrome.. Other than that, black sliders, tins, headlight bucket, apes, and I am not sure if I would leave the risers chrome or go black with them too. Along with some fat spokes (black with chrome spokes/white walls). Probably gloss black the rear fender struts. It's all in my head and planned.
I wish I had all the money to get it done, but like most everyone else on the forum.. It's just not the way it rolls. Lol. At least it is together and ready to ride as it sits, for now.
This bike is awesome, I have been looking for a similar looking bike to see how would the white walls look on black rims, looking great.
Very few bikes have this type of personality, it is inspiring.
My MetalFlakes are almost here and the bike should come together in a week or so, then maybe I can post some pics too
