One of the first things I bought for the wife was FLOORBOARDS...
They serve more than One Fix.. they'll make her a lot more comfortably by giving her a lot of foot positions and they'll keep a lot of heat off her feet.
Plus U won't have to remove burnt on shoe marks all the time that gets on Ur pipes with the cheap footpets..
..
I bought the floorboards for the wife but had to swap them with the mini's. Her legs are so short that she couldn't put her feet on them comfortably.
The full size passenger footboards are good as long as the wife isn't wearing high heels. Since I prefer her to wear heels I like the mini footboards. The full size ones put her legs up in a less comfortable riding position for her. The minis and the pegs allow the heel to hang off the back so she is a little more relaxed. Although I do like the look of her wearing heels on the full size better. ;-)
The other factor to consider between the Propipe 2>1 and Big radius 2>1 other than style is VOLUME. I selected the Propipe because it is louder than stock without being deafening loud. It's also pretty mellow while cruising. I don't know much about the big radius 2>1 but do know the dual Big radius pipes are loud.
There is a thread in the tech section that you should check out of sound postings of a variety of pipes.

That's definitely a consideration. A while back I had a Honda VT750 that I had purchased with straight pipes. My ears would be ringing after riding it for more than just a few minutes. It was too loud for me.
I would love a set of pipes that equate to the loudness level of like a Rush 2 inch slip-on glass pack muffler.
I have a fatboy lo and I just put on a set of V&H Bigshot staggereds. I love them. I originally wanted a set of BR 2-2 until I saw that EVERYONE has them. Then I looked at the BR 2-1. But I soon realized that the FB is an old school looking bike. The swept lines of the BR pipes looked more modern and out of place. The straight simplicity of the Bigshots was perfect. And, as a bonus, they fit under the passenger pegs with no adapter. My wife used to bitch that her right foot would go numb from the vibration that was transmitted through the stock pipe into the passenger foot peg. Not so with the Bigshots. No vibration. I also did the intake and a Power Vision. Holy ****... it honestly feels like a totally new bike. Being my first Harley, I was a bit disappointed with the stock setup. I began thinking that Harleys were real sissy bikes. But, with the new setup, it pulls like a big bore bike should. MUCH stronger and smoother. So much more fun to ride. The only drawback... the Bigshots are LOUD!! No problem... I put in the quiet baffles and it sounds better with a more acceptable volume. Also, there is a crossover pipe on the Bigshots, so it acts kinda like a 2-1, but still has the look of a 2-2.
Whatever you get... do a PV or any other tuner of your choice. It makes all the difference in the world.
Thanks for the advice Jim bo. When I went shopping for a bike I almost bought a Fatboy Low, but I opted for the chrome shine of the Fatboy instead.
Do you have a good pic of your bike that shows what your exhaust looks like? I guess I can look up those pipes on the web, so if you don't it's not a big deal.
Thanks.

Chrome *****! Just kidding. Good luck with your pipe decision, now and in the future. From what I have read, a few members have gone through numerous sets of pipes. That's also when the Power Vision will come in handy.

HA! That is damn funny! Most bikes I see are full of chrome so I actually wanted to go with the black denim/flat black/blacked out look but my wife's only input on the whole purchase was to opt for the chrome instead of the blacked out look. So I will pass on what you said to her... she will take it as a compliment.
So what is this Power Vision you mentioned? (EDIT: Nevermind, I found it on a forum search.)
As mentioned earlier the Bassani Road Rage 2-1 has both the long baffle and the short baffle, we went with the long baffle.
Here is a video of our 2-1 on our '12 Heritage.
I also picked up a pair of the HD adjustable floorboard mounts, on Ebay, for my wife as she is only 5' 2" and she had a problem reaching the foot pegs. With the adjustable mounts I can adjust not only the height but also the angle of the boards.
