I'm looking to get a set of pipes for my new 2012 FLSTF. What I want is a 2-into-1 set that will run under the passenger footpeg. The stock pipes are run with the passenger footpeg between them and they are too hot for my wife's poor delicate little feet.
I was looking at the V&H Big Radius 2-to-1 (nice looking pipes!) but I'm not sure if it can be installed with adequate clearance for the passenger.
Any install the V&H pipes and can tell me if they will work? Or maybe have some other ideas?
I'm still hung up on Thunderheaders. They aint perdy, but do make good Horsepower and sound great. Don't forget the Powervision from Fuel-Moto and the SE stage 1 kit as well.
Just my opinion here, but the thunder header only looks good on bikes that are more less ''raced''. They do not really have a style to them and are made for 1 thing. Some of the pipes HP mentioned are a little more tastefull, will not be a huge diff in HP. Again just my thoughts on it.
